November Work Day

November 12 @ 9:00 am 12:00 pm

We hope you can join us this Saturday, Nov. 5, for our next volunteer work day! We’ll be continuing our work on the core prairie area, cutting brush and removing any herbaceous invasive that is still in bloom or has put on seeds. In addition, volunteers will also have the exciting opportunity to get a sneak preview of the Alliance’s new prairie mapping program with our Executive Director, Dr. Marla Steele!

What to wear / bring: Please bring your own drinking water. Dress for outdoor work (long sleeves, long pants, sturdy shoes). Some work gloves are available, but you are encouraged to bring your own.

Other tools and training will be provided. Email the event leader with questions at pierbt54@gmail.com.

Directions: Meet at the Highway 12 gate to Badger and park near the Badger History Museum (look for signs). We will then drive to the work site.
