SPCA lecture “Exploring Badger Lands’ Web of Life” with Mike & Angus Mossman, Lisa Hartman & Jeb Barzen!
November 17, 2022 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Have you ever wondered where the birds, bees, and other prairie pollinators like to hang out and why? Here’s your chance to find out with the Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance at the George Culver Community Library November 17th at 6:30PM!
The Badger Lands are home to myriad animal species, each with its own lifestyle and habitat needs. Come learn about this abundant life, how species are influenced by management on the four Badger properties, and also by each other! Mike, Angus, Lisa and Jeb have worked on Badger ecology and management for over 20 years. They will focus on species of special conservation need, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. The invert information is new and especially fascinating—expect some “dynamite” photos.
We hope you can join us as we kick off a new season of the “We are Sauk Prairie” lecture series and look to another year of conservation, prairie restoration, historical and cultural preservation, advocacy, education and outreach!
