Introducing Rebecca Dymzarov- New Alliance Director

Today marks the first day for the Alliance’s new executive director, Rebecca (Becca) Dymzarov.  Becca comes to the Alliance with almost 25 years of experience in conservation non-profit management, fundraising, communications, volunteer coordination and ecological restoration.  Becca first became familiar with the Badger lands 20 years ago when she served as an intern to the DNR.  She has worked with The Nature Conservancy in Massachusetts and Oregon, and with Mississippi Valley Conservancy and, most recently, Rock River Coalition in Wisconsin.  She holds a B.A. degree from Boston University in Art History/English, a B.A. from Evergreen State College in Ecology, and a M.S. degree in Environment and Resources through the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at UW-Madison.  Her master’s thesis focused on ecological restoration of Lakeshore Nature Preserve along Lake Mendota in Madison, and she has been involved in other restoration projects.  Becca has also served as adjunct faculty at MATC (Madison College) in Madison.

We are confident that Becca will bring new energy and growth to the Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance and we wish her well!
