Volunteers Collect Trash at Badger on Earth Day

A group of 30 hearty volunteers gathered at Badger on a bright and sunny Earth Day (Monday April 22) to pick up trash along the Badger perimeter fence parallel to Highway 12.  This event has been coordinated by former Alliance Vice President Gail Lamberty for many years.  Over the course of less than two hours, they collected over 200 pounds of trash!  State Senator Jon Erpenbach and his staff  joined this volunteer effort.

Here Gail gives instructions to the assembled volunteers.
