The Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance is pleased to announce its fall campaign to raise $20,000 by year-end for general support of the organization. To help us meet that goal, loyal members Ron and Paulette Walker-Smith (Madison) have provided a wonderful incentive—they will MATCH, dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000, all donations to the Alliance received on or prior to November 30.
We are grateful to our members and non-members who have already responded to our fall renewal campaign. However, many have not yet made their annual donations. Now would be a perfect time to do so; your donation will be matched! We don’t want any of the challenge to go unmet. Please be generous with your gift today!
Donate online here, (downloadable donation cards are also found at that link) or send a check to: SPCA, PO Box 403, Baraboo WI 53913.
Your donation to the Alliance will support our robust outreach and education programs (programs, tours and lecture series), on-site prairie and savanna restoration at the Badger Lands, our “Apple Corps” project that is mapping and preserving the historic apple trees at Badger, and other initiatives.
Donors of $100 or more can request either 1) a copy of the heart-wrenching book about a farm family at Badger, “A Paradise Lost, Sauk Prairie Remembered” (Kathryn Klipstein-Gress) or 2) a signed print of our iconic painting, “Sauk Prairie Remembered: A Vision for the Future” (Bahktin).
